resizing minimize, maximize, close buttons

I seem to be missing something here. I am trying to incrase the size of 
these buttons, as I do on all of my systems, but with this fresh install 
of Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE3.5 I am running into a problem. I cannot find 
where I can make this change. My memory is that I used the Polyester 
theme to do it, but I can't find where to change the size. Can anyone 
point me in the right direction?
