how to enable kde script but not restart kde?

Hi, I met a problem,

I want to enable the modified KDE script in directories of ~/.kde/share/configure/ and /usr/share/autostart/, but I don't want to restart the whole KDE with startkde, because there are some running applications which should not be closed.

Can anybody help me?
