Kuickshow in KDE 4?

Hi all,

as the last relevant thread is half a year in the past, I think it's OK
to ask the same question again:

Will there be a kuickshow in KDE 4 at some point? Will there be
a replacement? gwenview is OK, but what I am looking for is a
no-frills image viewer. Everything else just grinds my personal
photo workflow to a halt.

If there are no plans to revive kuickshow or create a clone, can
anyone suggest an ultra-light-weight image viewer?
