Kaffeine can't find codecs etc.

all i did when i got my kaffeine working was to google win32 codecs for suse
10.1  --thats my distro
the file i got was a tar.gz file-- i extracted it and put it in -- i think
usr/share/win32  or usr/binwin32--- i cant exactly what destination the
win32 is in-- but i know i put it in there-----  and i havent had any
problems runnig any mp3's or certain avi's    just mpeg---- i think i need
more codecs for them
