I don't believe so. That would be possible only if the printer had a
routable IP Address. If it were connected via a switch or print server. I'm
not sure that's the case with John's printer. Then again, I have only shared
printers with samba.
John you're using Suse 10 so this link should be able to get you started.
Samba can do quite a bit, but all you need to do is share the printers.
Alternatively, you could use the smbclient share the printer the other way
around. From Windows to Linux. The client will be easier to install and will
require less resources.
