Don't worry, definitely a valid question here as well.
Just in case a question regarding KDE's PIM applications is not getting any 
anwer here, you can additionally try the kdepim-users mailinglist.

Hmm, I think there is a known bug in the template handling for mail 
forwarding.

AFAIK it is already fixed, but I do not remember if it is already in a 
released version or if it will be in the next bug fix release.
