system:/media is empty!

What is a bullshit? After reboot HAL stops to work. I have received messages 
about media inserting, but I cannot give access to media folder - when I 
press to "plus" near it, I see empty folder and icon changed to "simply 
opened folder". But, when I entering "system:/media/da0s1" I see content of 
USB drive, when "system:/media/cd0" - content of CD, etc.
