Can't transfer pics from camera to PC anymore

USB connection line is O.K. Got new. Still won't connect. Previously had
no problem. Plug in camera does not come up on monitor. I have PICASA
installed and when I plug in the camera it does not show connection. Wa
Happened? Please advise.
