kioslave temporary sockets

Hello folks.

Does anyone knows how to close and/or limit temporary slave-sockets?

My application needs to instantiate KHTMLPart many times per second, opening a
multi-frame HTML page. Right now I noticed kioslave temporary sockets grow
continuously exhausting file descriptors within minutes.

I also noticed the same behaviour using konqueror 3.5.2 (kubuntu), so I assume
my code is not ill-behaved...

I am relatively new to kde, thanks in advance.
