Hello, Everyone
Here are a few good, IMO, questions:
1. Is anyone who has this issue running a version of KDE Other Than the
one that ships with your distribution?
2 . What are the "Distribution shipped" versions of KDE that have this
problem?
3. Is anyone running a "Distro shipped" version of KDE's most recent
stable release (3.5.4)?
4. Is anyone (other than myself, of course :)) that is running KDE
Branch 3.5 compiled from source having this problem?

As far as I've been able to gather, everyone that has this issue is
running the KDE that shipped with their Distro, and no one is running
KDE 3.5.4 or newer.
