I followed the steps contained in your bug report exactly, and I cannot
duplicate the behavior that you are getting.  Translation: using KDE
from Branch 3.5 (updated a few days ago) the behavior of what you
reported works the way that you seem to want it to (and, I agree, the
way that it SHOULD work :))

I added more precise comments to the bug report you referred to above.
