Kopete autoconnects always

Hi,
I am using Kopete 0.12.2 on KDE 3.5.4 and I have this nasty problem... 
Whenever I start is it always connects automatically my ICQ account and sets 
my status as Online. Even if I have disabled the autoconnect option (or 
excluded the account from autoconnect in the account properties). I really 
hate this, because I like to connect first as invisible.

Any idea for a workaround? Why Kopete discards these options?
