Hi,

Just backup ~/.kde/share . This contains all settings of all KDE applications, 
including Kontact.

To be more precise:
Mail - ~/.kde/share/kmail/mail (or ~/Mail on some systems)
Calendar - ~/.kde/share/korganizer
News feeds - ~/.kde/share/apps/akregator
Contacts - ~/.kde/share/kabc
Usenet - ~/.kde/share/knode
