konstruct woes....

I'm having a little difficulty with KDE 3.5.1's konstruct built kmail. The 
problem I am having is that the SASL auth mechanisms seem not to want to 
work. I keep getting an error -4 from SASL when it attempts to communicate 
with my server. If anyone has any ideas to try, I'll be glad to try.
