GAIM suddenly doesn't use my KDE colours

I stopped and restarted GAIM and now it doesn't use any of my KDE window 
colours, even using a different background colour for the icon in the 
system tray. What might I have done? I have "Apply color to non-KDE 
applications" checked in the right place in the Control Panel.
