Running X-Applications w/o being hungup

It quit because it is loosing its connection to the X server.

One way go around this is to have an XServer running on the remote site, use 
it for the applications and work with it through a remote protocol like VNC.

Or running an NX server and connecting to it with a NX client

there is also a free server called FreeNX, not sure where to get it though
