KDE3.5.3: Little triangle on eg KDE button is not shown when control bar is on the left side

Hi,

the little triangle on buttons to show that one can get a menu from them 
(eg KDE button) does not appear when I set the bar to the left side. 
All other directions work (eg top, down and right). I use KDE3.5.3, the 
problem is new in that version (probably because the triangle was 
permanent before).

Can you verify that bug?
