calling a shell script from a servicemenu

Thanks, but unfortunately that didn't work.  I hadn't
heard of soundkonverter, that may make it easier. 
However, I'd still like to get this working for future
reference if anybody has any ideas.
Is there any way of debugging this type of thing?
