How to set "folder view" for media:/ url's in Konqueror?

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with konqueror in KDE 3.5.2. I want it to display
everything in "Detailed directory view", not in "Symbol view" (hope the
translations aren't totally off). It already works for my Home folder,
meaning that when I open it with konqueror I can browse through all my
files in "/" in "Detailed directory view". But once I go to "media:/"
(by typing it into konqueror or using "System"->"Media") and open a
device, e.g. my USB flash stick, I'm back in "Symbol view". Saving the
file manager profile doesn't help the view in "media:/".

Anyone knows what to do? I'm using Gentoo x86.
