problems installing kde 3.5

Hi,
I m trying to install kde 3.5 on fedora core 3 on p4 machine. Everything has
been installed fine except kdebindings. Even kdebindings has been compiled
successfully but its  showing errors in "make install"...

I dont want to install kde as root....so is there any workaround to solve
the problem without becoming root....

Any help will be appreciated...
