Programs do not appear in the task bar

Hi Fabien,

Have you tried closing and re-opening the taskbar? Also take a look at the taskbar settings in the control centre.

Another option (which works beautifully for me on KDE3.5.1, Fedora 3) is kompose (http://kompose.berlios.de).
