Compile problems

Hi everyone. I got a strange problem in compiling kde:
First, kde can't compile. The reason seems to be the following:
i.e. kdeartwork wants to compile the files slideshow.cpp but slideshowcfg.h is 
(still) empty and slideshowcfg.cpp doesn't even exist. Of course the result 
an error message that the necessary structures are invalid.
After some time it compiles flawlessly.
I have Qt 3.3.4 AND Qt 4.1.0 and tried to compile KDE 3.5.1. Does anyone know 
what the problem is?
