In 3.5 Konqueror is able to load Google maps:
"Konqueror in SVN trunk is now able to load Google maps. While some small 
glitches still remain, this is a very exciting breakthrough for google maps 
lovers who aren't so fond of the big and bloaty gecko. (Click for larger 
image)" Ok, it doesn't work perfectly and it isn't officially supported.
