Wireless notebook

Installed Suse 10.0- KDE on Pacard Bell NoteBook (EasyNote) 
Fast internet works, but not wireless from router 3Com. (Kursor is freesing, when insert the adapter)
Using a Philips CPWNA 100 adapter 11a/g 
 
Very thankful to get a step by step solution
