help! how can I get my new windows to appear in front

Dear Justin,

THANKS.  (I got several replies, but yours seems
to work.)  In order to view new windows I had set each
consecutive one I needed to be on top.... and indeed
new ones then went underneath.  I changed them all to
the other option: Keep Below - and now it seems to
be OK.  (The SUn keyboard has a nice "front" button
that does not work in KDE.)
