Konqueror problem

Hi,
    I'm in trouble to login on an html page that requires
username and password with konqueor but no problem with other browser
like firefox, why this happens ? Is it a cookie related problem ?
Another thing is that when i try to manage my konqueror cookies
it says that  cannot start cookies manager and  that i'll not be able
to manage cookies save on my pc, what is happening ?
