custom status in kopete

Hi all!
I have kde 3.4 installed on my gentoo box. how to see the custom
status of the friends in kopete. It allows you to have a custom status
but does not allow you to see the custom status of your friends. Which 
pluggin needs to be installed for it.
Any help would be appreciated.
