Problem with detecting kdelibs on Fedora x86_64

Hi
I have a problem with detecting kdelibs in my system (Fedora Core 4 x86_64)
I have installed kdelibs for x86 and x86_64 and kdelibs-devel.
When I want to compile any application which  needs  kdelibs while 
running configure script I get an error that I mast install kdelibs first.
I found in KDE FAQ that the problem is in librarys. configure script 
detects libs in /usr/lib but kde uses libs from /usr/lib64.
I don't have an idea how to fix this. Maybe you will.
