Konqueror cannot access floppy

Hello, I'm new to kde, I tried to access the floppy in Konqueror, but it kept 
giving me the error message: "Could not enter folder /media/floppy".  I'm 
using suse 9.2.  I did an online update before this using the YOU (yaST 
Online Update).
