rc for only 1 virtual desktops, mouse

Which rc file do I have to edit to change number of virtual desktops to 1?
When I drag window to the left or right edge of the screen, it moves the window of application to the next virtual screen. How can I disable this in rc file? I haven't found that option kcontrol anyway.

Also how do I disable this:  when I move mouse to the left or right edge of the screen it goes to next virtual screen?
