konquerors automatism dosn't change to correct charset

Hi,

why doesn't konqueror change to utf8 when loading a page with

	<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

in its header? Manually changing the charset to utf-8 gives a correct 
representation.
