Compiling KDE and CFLAGS

Hi,
I'm comiling KDE and i was thinking about the BEST CFLAGS for the pupose.
I'm compiling with this CFLAGS (and CXXFLAGS):
-march=athlon-xp -pipe -O3

If you have better one (without the -march part) please share it :)

 ./confirure parameters ?

Mine is :
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3.4-RC1 --with-alsa --enable-final --enable-mt       
-without-xinerama --enable-threading --sysconfdir=/etc
