konqueror reacting on external requests

Hi,

when clicking URLs outside of konqueror, konqueror does its job depicting the 
URLs code. But very often it resizes (particularly the main window shrinks), 
and sometimes but rarely it gets focus and becomes the top window.

I want konqueror to maintain its window geometry and to always become the top 
window when clicking URLs outside of it. How to do that?
