upgrade to 3.5 and stuff disappears!

What's with the 3.5 release on Fedora? I upgrade from 3.4.2 and I lose a 
bunch of stuff from the K Menu and the kicker, things like the Control 
Center, the Home in Konqueror button, GAIM, and who knows-what-else yet?

Is this normal?
