konquerer 'Reply' & 'Forward' buttons suddenly stopped working!

Hi,
We are Linux newbie's (using KDE via Suse 9.1 pro).

For the first time in our experience; 

1) In the INBOX:
 The Konqueror 'Reply' and 'Forward' buttons have
stopped responding.
   (Other buttons in the same row, such as
'Send','Delete' and 'Move' continue to operate OK. {to
date).

Any ideas?
