Hi Patrick. I've had a similar problem with Konqueror on Fedora Core 1. I've
sort of fixed it by integrating Kget into Konqueror. You can find Kget on the
Main menu/Internet. The config for it has an option for integrating it into
Konqueror. When you start a download you will not have a download window, but
should see an icon in the taskbar for it . It is a grey circle with a down
arrow in it. Click on this and the window should open. If the icon isn't in
the taskbar, click on the Kget icon in Konqueror and you should get a large
icon on Konquerors main screen. Right click on this and choose maximise. This
should also bring up the downloader window. Nigel.

FC1 with KDE version (kdebase-3.1.4-9.legacy)
FC2 with KDE version (kdebase-3.2.2-8.FC2) does not have this problem, nor
does Debian Sarge with KDE 3.3 or Gentoo with KDE 3.4.
