kmail wont send mail anymore

As of yesterday, I cant send mail from kmail anymore. I get the error:


Sending failed:

The attempt to start sending the message content failed. The server
responded: "RCPT first (#5.5.1)"

The message will stay in the 'outbox' folder until you either fix the
problem (e.g. a broken address) or remove the message from the 'outbox'
folder.

The following transport protocol was used: eircom
Do you want me to continue sending the remaining messages?


I have checked the network settings and they all seem correct. Also,
sending from Mozilla Mail (using the same settings) works.
