horizontal wheel scrolls vertically in Konq

Salut Folks,
this might be a SuSE issue:
SuSE 9.1pro, KDE 3.4.0b
with 3.4.0a it was scrolling horizontally as it should

Maybe it is just a setting, as if you are in FTP-mode with konqueror it 
scrolls both ways as it was before. But in web-mode it makes no difference 
if you use the horizontal-wheel or the vertical - it allways scrolls 
vertically. (Just for curious, it's a synaptics with the 4-way button, 
besides the 2 standard buttons).
Does anyone know, if this is configurable?
