Hi John,
My recommendation is to upgrade Red Hat 9 to a newer version. Fedora
Core replaced Red Hat after version 9. The latest is Fedora Core 2,
with version 3 due out in 2 weeks. I am currently using Fedora Core 2
with KDE upgraded to KDE 3.3.1. I found RPMs for FC2 on the KDE
server.
