/usr/bin/ls: temp: No such file or directory
[jan at waterloo ~]$ touch temp
[jan at waterloo ~]$ ls -l temp
-rw-rw-rw-  1 jan dfc 0 2004-11-09 15:17 temp
[jan at waterloo ~]$ mkdir temp
mkdir: `temp' exists but is not a directory
[jan at waterloo ~]$
