Kuickshow showing blank

Kuickshow is just showing big black squares whenever I click on an image and 
open it directly from an email.  The image isn't loaded at all.

I don't know if it's format sensitive - I've only had the problem 
with .png, .jpg, and .gif (those are the big ones though...)

If I right-click on the file, and choose "Open With..." it works in most 
things (konqueror, gimp, etc), just not kuickshow.

I have attached a screenshot of my problem I'm having.  (This happens when I 
open any file in kuickshow - no matter the location)

I am running the latest version (from yesterday) of CVS Head.  I've had this 
problem for about a month now, and am just wondering if anyone else is seeing 
the same issues.  (It might be something on my end...) And yes, I know that 
it's one of those things that comes along with running CVS Head - that's why 
I've waited for a month to ask around about it.

Any pointers/suggestions would be appreciated.
