As long as only unused fonts are removed, there should be no negative effect.

Now, as I try to keep things running smoothly and as quick as possible
with my PIII 733Hz 512MB RAM box ( MDK 10 Official ), I was just curious
as to wether or not there is anything here I could trim to help KDE cut
down on start-up time?

It just that there appears to be some redundant directories and others
with next to nothing in them, whilst still others appear to 'double' up?

Or is there a way to have KDE look for extra fonts when required to
only? [ Hmmm... this one dosen't make practical sense but I thought I
would ask in case this tinkering newbie missed something. ]

TIA. Any assistance is always greatly appreciated.
