kmix error, permission problem.

Hi,

I do not know if this is a KDE problem but it seems to me that kmix have 
problems in KDE 3.2.1 on RH9 built from source.
When I start kmix I get an error regarding the device /dev/dsp. When 
looking into it I found that both /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer did not change 
ownership to my login-id and are owned by root. When manually modifying 
ownership with chown I grant permission and kmix works fine. When tried 
to set the setuid bit on kmix I got an error message that it is not allowed.
