fonts overlappings on the desktop

Hello @ all!

Is someone else having this problem?

See attached PNG file for an illustration.

I'm using KDE 3.2.1 on NetBSD 1.6K (i386) with XFree86 4.4.0.

Thanks for any suggestion.

Further information:
The same problem occurs to the fonts that are displayed during
the KDE splash screen. All the other fonts are okay (kickbar,
title bar, applications (konqueror, kword, ...) and so on.
