Odd icon at system tray

Hi!

Long ago, a strange icon appeared in my system tray. Clicking it does nothing, 
and after some time the icon image disappears (there's empty space on the 
tray, as if it was there, but the icon is not drawn). I've attached an image 
showing it.

Could anyone please explain me what is it?
