KDE 3.2.0 & Alsa

Hey there,

I have a strange problem with my sound(card)? Running kernels 2.6.3 (alsa
built-in) and 2.6.4-rc1 (alsa fully modularized). On both the sound works
fine, until KDE is started, then it's dead and needs are reboot to come
back to life. Under the console, gnome and fvwm it's fine.

Tried setting the sound daemon to alsa and turning it off, both in the
control panel. That didn't help...

Any suggestions? I'm stuck and do not know where to look next.
