According to their website, versions 1.3 and 1.3.1 do have OO.O import/export
filters, but these are incomplete.
Actually, the KOffice team are currently migrating to using the OASIS file
formats (i.e. OpenOffice.org) as native, and this effort includes
comprehensive OO.O<->KO filters for backwards compatibility If you can't
wait for the next release, and the 1.3 filters don't work well enough, there
are work-arounds, such as saving in MSWord format (yuck, I suddenly feel so
dirty), or good old RTF.
