How to find out which program belongs to the symbol

Hi, since some days I obviously have a new program running, and I don't
know how to find out which one it is. See that screen shot:

The program I mean is the one between "kmix" and that red round symbol
with the exclamation mark ("yast online update"). It's a strange grey
block, and no mouse key makes any reaction on it. It starts with KDE,
and I have no idea how to find out which program that could be (there
are a lot running on my PC).

Can someone tell me how to find out which symbol belongs to which
program? A generic solution would be nice, to understand how it works.

thanks, mike
