Accents missing

IIUC, only KWrite and KATE will do accents and support UTF8 encoding.

Specifically, KEdit will not do accents unless they exist in ISO8859-1.

If you are using KWrite or KATE, you have a configuration problem, please 
provide any additional information that you have available.
