kdm problem

Well there are 2 kdmrc files,
one in etc/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm and
another in /opt/kde3/share/config/kdm.

The first one is the file that Control Center updates
when someone changes the kdm settings and it has the
following entry
SessionTypes=kde,gnome,windowmaker,blackbox,openbox,
             fvwm2,icewm,mwm,twm,failsafe

The second file has :
SessionTypes=kde,gnome,windowmaker,mwm,twm,failsafe

The login widget only shows all the entries from the
first file adding a Default and a Custom Entry but
Gnome does not show up
